It’s officially been four months since we welcomed our second daughter, Quinn, to the world. She has always been an active girl, even in the womb. I recall that the radiologist had a difficult time telling us the gender of our baby because Quinn insisted on doing somersaults in my wife’s belly.
At her three month checkup, our doctor commented on how amazing it was that Quinn could turn her head so well. She’s fascinated with the world, and the world is fascinated with her! Everywhere we go, folks turn and look at Quinn, as she always has a smile or a wide-eyed expression.
Right before Quinn entered the world, we were fortunate to receive incredible support from our backers on Kickstarter for Doomscroll, our upcoming card game release. And, much like Quinn, our humble little game is also turning heads!
We were recently named a finalist for the James Paul Gee Analog Learning Game Award for the 2024 Play Make Learn Conference. The Award highlights tabletop board and card games that allow for players to exercise critical thinking, creativity, analysis, and more during gameplay. We pride ourselves on designing games that not only are fun to play, but also make the players feel like they are growing as they progress through each turn.
Whether it is Doomscroll or Quinn, we are turning heads left and right. And we could not be more excited about what is to come!
