About GamestormEDU
GamestormEDU began in 2021 as an effort by Jon Spike, an educator with over a decade of teaching experience in K-12 and higher education, to bring innovative educational experiences to anyone and everyone.
GamestormEDU offers educational consulting and professional development, featuring everything from hands-on workshops to inspiring keynotes.
Jon Spike, Chief Creative Officer of GamestormEDU, has presented all over the United States to districts, organizations, and conferences, including the International Society of Technology in Education (ISTE) Conference, the Future of Educational Technology Conference (FETC), and the Midwest Google Summit.
Jon is a Google Certified Innovator and Trainer, and has received the Wisconsin Educational Media and Technology Association’s Emerging Leader Award, as well as the North American Simulation and Gaming Association’s Rising Star Award.
Jon has a Master’s in Educational Technology from Marian University and is currently working on his PhD dissertation on virtual reality in education at Northern Illinois University.
Jon will be releasing his first commercial board game, Gamestormers, in 2023.
